God is good! Thank you Jesus for another day to serve you.

We had dinner at J and B's last night to tell them our story. We had a good time but they did not see what we were hoping they would see. They kept getting stuck on the “stuff”, like, God wouldn’t take away our home, that God doesn’t “strip” us of things only the enemy does that. We listened with an open heart and mind but what they were saying contradicted with what we feel God is telling us. We are surrendering or sacrificing everything to Him, it is all His anyway. We are "choosing" to let go of all earthly possessions to follow Him. We do not see value in things anymore (at least not the way we used to) and we choose to live the life that He desires for us. We are letting go, relying completely on Him for everything and not on ourselves. I don’t think they understand where we are, and I guess that is ok. The “sticking” point seemed to be that we weren’t paying our bills. We have been paying all the bills except what God said He would take care of. Even we struggled with that and wanted to pay something on them but felt like that would be calling God a liar so we have restrained ourselves. If we are wrong in all this, we understand that these debts are ours and will do what we need to do to get them paid.

I somehow feel like our time with the pastor and his wife will go the same way. Lord please open our eyes if we are missing something and open theirs if they are. I want to lay a foundation of prayer so that we all hear YOUR voice and not our own or the enemies. In Jesus name, Amen.
