Yesterday was a pretty amazing day!!! The whole week was pretty intense for me, work was 10 to 11 1/2 hours a day, and I had meetings every night. Tom didn’t have any meetings yesterday so I was able to take the car to work so I got up and did Yoga! It felt so good to stretch again. Then I got a call at work from a woman who was referred to me for my FWO group. Wow. I spent about an hour talking to her and she will be joining us on Tuesday night. Lots of prayer will be invested in her. Lord, I pray right now that you will continue to draw her into your safe arms and give her a safe place to weep and heal.

Yesterday work was easier than it has been in that we maybe got 5 emails in the Customer Service box all day!! It was wonderful! I was able to get so much done!! Lord, I pray that you give me a couple more days like that! So, I was able to go home at 4:00 and spend some time with Tom before our Friday night meeting.

Just before I left work it started pouring down rain, praise the Lord! We haven’t had rain in a long time and the whole area was getting concerned so everyone at work was celebrating the rain! I drove home in a few cloud bursts but a little later after I got home the sky opened up and the wind turned on full blast!! We stood in the front glass door and watched the weather in amazement! All we could do was say “wow” over and over again. It was hurricane or tornado force winds and the rain was coming down in sheets and blankets, the thunder and lighting was also very intense. We watched a little plastic pool fly down the street and a couple basketball hoops get blown over. The power kept flickering off and on and we lit candles in preparation of it finally going off. It never really did but, wow, what a show we beheld!

Then we met with a couple that we are friends with to help them work through some tough issues in their marriage. Yet another “wow”. It was very intense and hard for all of us but it ended, I think, about as well as it could have. Tom was amazing in his ability to discern and communicate with the husband. I hope and pray that they walked away with some hope. God did show up for them and if they keep their eyes on Him and work really hard on their healing (from past relationships and marriages) and work on their relationship with the Lord, they will have an awesome marriage.

The session started at about 7:30 (scheduled for 7:00 but the weather was a bit of a distraction), and it didn’t end until around 11:00pm or a little later. I was so wiped out! After such a long week and a long day that I slept until 11:15 this morning!! We had a leadership meeting this morning that Tom went to, to represent us. Now I have to catch up with my emails and work on my homework (we started our Doctrines class on Thursday night).

Lord, give me strength!
