The service was great this morning! The pastor had a message but the Holy Spirit prompted him to dismiss his plans and lead the congregation in prayer for each other and prayer for healing. It was very powerful!

God gave me a Word during worship this morning and I was feeling like it was for the “body” of Christ. He said “Linda, I do not make mistakes. I am not a man that I would make mistakes but I am perfect. Even when things “look” like they are out of control there is nothing that is out of MY control. You just need to trust me”. Then He reminded me of the morning when He asked me three times if I trusted Him (like He asked Peter three times if he loved Him) and I realized that my trust was based on thinking He was going to do what I wanted Him to do, or thought He should do… But He wanted me to see that I needed to trust Him no matter what, even if it wasn’t what I was hoping He would do. Then He said again, “I don’t make mistakes and all my ways are perfect”.

I shared this word with the administrator to give to the congregation but she felt like it was for her and didn’t give it to the pastor. I was led to pray for her and during the prayer time I felt like I needed to connect even more with her so I asked her if she was free to have lunch some time this week.

Another part of Sunday was that SS was there during the early service and ended up hanging out with us. I have to mention that in the 20 years we have known SS, he has never sat with us!! So, after church we spent some time talking with him and shared where we were in our life and said that we would really like to share what God was doing in our lives but we needed a couple hours to tell the whole story. So, we arranged to meet with both he and his wife on Monday night.
