Psalm 150
1 Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens.
2 Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness.
3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre,
4 praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute,
5 praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals.
6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD.
Lord I do praise you and thank you for all you are doing in my life and within me!
This has been a very crazy time for me… Last weekend I went to the “Fragrant Oil” women’s conference in Fuquay with a friend. It was a very interesting weekend and I will be processing it for a while I think. Over all it was good but not quite what I was expecting/hoping for?
This week at work was also crazy because of month/quarter end and my co-worker was out on vacation and I was on my period… Very stressful but I think I am over the hump and can coast for a time.
This weekend is R and E’s 6th wedding anniversary so we will be watching the kids for them… I guess I will be resting the next weekend??
We are still waiting on God for the house. Yesterday was the “hearing” so I suppose the next “date” is October 24th. This morning we started reading Oswald Chambers “My utmost for His highest” and the devotion was on how God pounds and molds us into the shape that we need to be for His service and that these things have to happen in order for us to be useful to Him. As Tom was reading this I pictured a blacksmith pounding, hammering and molding metal and steal into a sword or axe for battle. This was a good analogy for what we feel we are going through!
Lord thank you so much for your faithfulness, help me to not fear, whine or doubt but to praise your name as I am being molded for your service!
Amen.
